Book Description
The Meaning of Surah 10 Yunus (Prophet Jonah AS) From Holy Quran (Священный Коран) Bilingual Edition In English and Russian Languange. Yunus (Jonah) is the 10th chapter (surah) of the Quran with 109 verses (ayat). Yunus is named after the Prophet Yunus AS (Jonah). According to traditional islamic chronology (asbab al-nuzul), it is believed to have been formulated or "revealed" before the migration of Prophet Muhammad SAW and his followers from Mecca to Medina, as such, it is known as a Meccan surah. The initial verses of the chapter (1-70) presents an argumentative dialogue between Islam and its unbelievers. The rest contains the stories of Prophet Nuh AS (Noah), Prophet Musa AS (Moses) and Prophet Yunus AS (Jonah), all considered prophets in Islam. The chapter also mentions the People of Jonah, who at first rejected Prophet Yunus AS (Jonah) message, but then repented and believed. Therefore, unlike the people of Noah and Moses, they were averted from Allah SWT (God) punishment. The mention of Jonah in verse 98 gives the chapter its name.

So believe in Him and do not be blind to His favors, or the same fate that destroyed Noah's people will overtake you." Book Description
That Muhammad succeeded as a prophet is undeniable; a prominent military historian now suggests that he might not have done so had he not also been a great soldier. Best known as the founder of a major religion, Muhammad was also Islam’s first great general. While there have been numerous accounts of Muhammad the Prophet, this is the first military biography of the man. In Muhammad: Islam’s First Great General, Richard A. Gabriel shows us a warrior never before seen in antiquity—a leader of an all-new religious movement who in a single decade fought eight major battles, led eighteen raids, and planned thirty-eight other military operations. Gabriel’s study portrays Muhammad as a revolutionary who introduced military innovations that transformed armies and warfare throughout the Arab world. Gabriel analyzes the environment in which Muhammad lived and the religion he inspired as they relate to his military achievements. Gabriel explains how Muhammad changed the social composition of Arab armies by replacing traditional ways of fighting with a new command structure. Muhammad’s transformation of Arab warfare enabled his successors to establish the core of the Islamic empire—an accomplishment that, Gabriel argues, would have been militarily impossible without Muhammad’s innovations. Richard A. Gabriel challenges existing scholarship on Muhammad’s place in history and offers a viewpoint not previously attempted.

Book Description
Surah An-Naḥl (The Bees) is the 16th chapter (surah) of The Holy Qur'an, with 128 ayah (verse). It is named after honey bees, and contains a comparison of the industry and adaptability of honey bees to the industry of man. Regarding the timing and contextual background of the supposed revelation (asbal al-nuzul), it is an earlier "Meccan surah", which means it is believed to have been revealed in Mecca, instead of later in Medina. This surah warns against polytheism, saying that the pagan gods cannot create anything [Quran 16:20], and against comparisons between Allah SWT (God) and any created beings [Quran 16:74]. It praises Allah SWT (God) for giving the Earth with all its wealth to mankind. According to this surah, all wonders of the natural world, like seas, stars, mountains are proofs of God's infinite power [Quran 16:14].The verse 66 talks about the miracle in milk formation in cattle: "From what is within their bodies, between excretions and blood, We produce for your drink, milk, pure and agreeable to those who drink it." The verse 67 talks about miracle of vine: "And from the fruit of the date-palm and the vine, ye get out strong drink and wholesome food: behold, in this also is a sign for those who are wise".
