For it was a delicate situation which one less gracious and refined would almost certainly have spoiled. But both by gesture and by judg ment all His own He bore it up into a region in which the natural bonds of home and kindred were transcended but not destroyed, and in which everything was made to rest upon the spiritual principle of the practice of the will of God.
