"This project is about the change of attitude about healing in a Korean immigrant church. It is not easy to do the healing ministry in the Korean immigrant church in U.S.A. where pragmatism has developed the most. The Korean view of the church and American life are mixed in the Korean immigrant church, so there are many strengths and weaknesses. One of the weaknesses is that many Korean immigrant churches hold negative views toward divine healing. This might have come from the lack of education or training of the church members on divine healing. Therefore, the researcher assumed that if the church members were trained well on divine healing, they would understand divine healing correctly. It is not easy to carry out the healing ministry in America where many things are proved by science, and many hidden things are revealed in public. However, the Lord does His healing ministry beyond the boundaries of age, time, place, culture, and country. She hypothesized that if she trained the Korean immigrants in the church with the healing ministry based on the biblical, theological and historical knowledge, their attitude toward healing would be totally changed. It had been supported by the implementation. To know whether the hypotheses would be supported, she trained volunteers for ten weeks through lectures and activities. Twelve members participated in this training. Their attitude toward healing changed. Also, many of them actually experienced the healing of the Lord. Their faith had been grown, and they became more active in their church activities. Since their traditional view on healing had been changed, they began to show interest in the healing ministry more positively than before. After she completed the training, she concluded that the Lord would heal anybody who prays for healing by trusting the Lord"--Abstract.

"This project is about enhancing the divine healing knowledge of pastors' wives. Jesus regarded divine healing seriously but some churches are not concerned about whether or not the healing of Jesus is important in these days. It is for lack of the biblical and theological knowledge and understanding of divine healing. Therefore, the purpose of this project is to help believers learn correct knowledge on divine healing. Further, the goal of this project is to increase faith in divine healing and also, to change the understanding and attitude of the healing ministry. The subjects for this project are the pastor's wives who are serving Korean immigrant churches in the Southern California. The researcher taught divine healing to the treatment group for two hours weekly through seminar program and proceeded for a period of ten weeks. The researcher evaluated the results of teaching from pre-testing and post-testing. The results of the curriculum evaluation showed that their knowledge and faith in divine healing enhanced, and that their prejudices on the divine healing removed. Even though the sick were not healed, they came to understand the sovereignty of God who works for the good of believers in all things. Further, their understanding and attitude of healing ministry were changed positively. They were convinced that God granted the grace of healing to the sick through their healing ministries and began to pray for the sick boldly. Also, they have been raised towards more devoted faith and spiritual life such as serving for church, reading the Bible, and praying"--Abstract.

"This project was prepared to enhance the spiritual growth of the church members through education on the Eucharist. The purpose of this study is to help the church members have a right understanding on the Eucharist, to change their personality and character by helping them be united with Christ, to increase the change in their life style, to help them have abundant spiritual experiences, and to help them have balanced spiritualities through education on the Eucharist.
