Book Description
In The Blind Truth, Woody Livingston gives an inside scoop on how he has not only survived but thrived while going completely blind. Woody, part of the baby boomer generation, was born with Usher syndrome that brought about retinitis pigmentosa-which caused him to begin to lose his vision and his hearing at an early age. With the help of cochlear implants and a cane for the blind, not to mention his faith in God and a "can do" attitude, Woody has taken charge of his life and shows that you don't need eyesight to truly see. The Blind Truth is a collection of essays on what it's like to live with vision impairment in a seeing world. Woody dives into being blind while traveling on planes, trains, and public buses; how to handle blind discrimination, finding the humor in blind mishaps, navigating religious "vultures" and televangelists who want to heal him for their own personal gain, driving a car with low vision, and renovating a house despite being severely visually impaired. If you or someone you know is stuck in life, or experiencing visual impairment or disability, or even having a crisis faith; then The Blind Truth is the perfect read to gain inspiration and motivation! Book Description
A journey of words, a battle of the mind. How can we ever unravel the chaos in our world that we are living in? I can no longer hold my silence, I thought. Why have we not progressed in more meaningful ways, without the specter of doom staring right back at us? There are a myriad answers to be snatched at; but to what avail? The panic button is but an inch away; but who will push it? Answers, answers...... we all are crying out for; but the bell still tolls and rings out its deep, hollow empty reply. Are there answers to mankind's woes? Is there light at the end of our searching, and will we ever be satisfied with the answers we obtain? Almost daily, we are confronted as though looking over a precipice, seeing no hope of ever crossing to the other side, where the sun is rising, where we get a glimpse of new hope and a fresh start. "Blind Truth" will be confrontational, it will challenge us, it may stir the passions of right and wrong within us. However, there are things which will become undeniable to us, no matter which side of the fence we choose to be on. It is my greatest desire to attempt to bring together common, but perhaps forgotten, precepts that will help us forge ahead to a much brighter future.

Book Description
A child arrives in this world due to its parents. If there is anyone who is the benefactor of a person for sure, it s the parents. Because, they are the ones who were responsible for bringing it in the world and it is no new fact, that there is no love greater than the love parents have for their child. Then, what is it, which drives parents to kill its own child? Here, I am talking about the issue pertaining to the so many killings which have been committed recently, in the name of honour. Yes, I am talking about cases when parents murder their children because they have chosen a person belonging to the same clan. Surely a parent won t kill his child until he is fully convinced about the righteousness of his decision. Then, the real question is on the psychology of a parent when he connives to kill his own child.India got freedom in 1947. Even after 61 years women / female community in India has not received any freedom and there is no guarantee of Individual freedom for the female sex. They are always dominated by the Male members and the Male Community at large. Women are not united and even if they are united their voices are neglected. Just like in Western world, the children are to be left free to determine their future and individuality should be guaranteed for the youth. Once they are employed and look after themselves let them be free from the bondage of family and community and caste respects. Only then there will be a freedom from Caste and freedom from Male chauvinists and Male domination. Asa individual let them look after their future. The parent s role should be of a supportive role and not a decision making role then. A conservative Indian is very much attached to the false pride of their identities based on Caste, Religion and Community. We are very much bonded to this false prestige. Only when we come out of all these India can improve and the Love your neighbor preached by Islam, Christianity, Hinduism and Buddhism will come true. Love is the basic for Bagwat Gita, Bible or Quaran. But we do just opposite of it.Hinduism adores Deities and Goddesses. Should we harm women who are considered to be Holy? Female gender is so great only for religious purposes in the various religions? Why not we give them the honour in the real life?

Book Description
When ordinary people--mathematicians among them--take something to follow (deductively) from something else, they are exposing the backbone of our self-ascribed ability to reason. Jody Azzouni investigates the connection between that ordinary notion of consequence and the formal analogues invented by logicians. One claim of the book is that, despite our apparent intuitive grasp of consequence, we do not introspect rules by which we reason, nor do we grasp the scope and range of the domain, as it were, of our reasoning. This point is illustrated with a close analysis of a paradigmatic case of ordinary reasoning: mathematical proof.
