Book Description
Storytelling has been around since the beginning of time. Stories told and adventures lived are the basis of countless books that are loved by millions of people. While being passed from person to person, stories can inform and entertain, change a belief, and offer a new perspective. Whether as fact or fiction, or as song or poem, stories can provide a glimpse into the past, present or future while entertaining the reader. Stories catapult the reader into another time and place and allow the reader to hear, taste, touch, smell and see the experience through the mind's eye. As time goes by, it seems, it is harder to put everything down on paper in such a way as to hold the reader captive; to make the reader want to keep reading and find out what's coming next. Sure, it may seem to be an easy task to think of a funny, exciting or memorable experience where you are familiar with the whole picture. But the hard part of storytelling is to reproduce that picture in detail and paint that picture with words, so the reader can experience and enjoy it. I have written a few stories that tell of past things that have stuck in my mind. These stories are the things that I have done, things that others around me have done, and the fun that I have had telling of these adventures. So come along with me on my journey and let me spin a tale of humor and adventure. This story is just a small window into which you can look and see, in your mind, the seafaring adventures and sights that have been written for you to enjoy.

Book Description
In the summer of 2017, Drew walked away from a life that took him nearly ten years to build; leaving everyone and everything behind - he disappeared. For nearly one full year he lived a life of solitude. However, the pain Drew was carrying from events prior would begin to take on toll on him. When he did return home he did so for only a day or two at most; never spending more than a few hours with friends and family. Soon his family and friends agreed that he was different; changed somehow while simultaneously remaining the same. However, there were some who feared that the special piece of Drew which made him unique was now lost forever. Was the White Knight truly dead? If so, who or what took his place?

Book Description
Nancy Taylor Robson is one of the first women in the country to earn a US Coast Guard license. She grew up sailing and building boats with her father and worked as a housepainter, desk clerk and yacht maintenance person while in college. After earning a degree in history, she married and went to work alongside her husband as cook/deckhand on an old 85-foot tugboat. The fear of being maimed or lost overboard, the male opposition, and the drudgery during seagoing tours that ranged from Maine to Florida, Bermuda, New Orleans and Mexico was coupled with romantic sunsets, a ringside seat on nature and an appreciation for hard won accomplishment. Robson, one of a handful of women who paved the way for every intrepid woman who has followed, brings that world alive. Author of numerous articles and essays, Nancy Taylor Robson is also the author of two novels: Course of the Waterman and A Love Like No Other: Abigail and John Adams, A Modern Love Story.
