La UC mantiene un firme compromiso por combatir toda forma de acoso que se ejerza hacia un/a integrante de la comunidad universitaria, ya sea de carácter sexual, fïsico, psicológico o moral. Existen múltiples circunstancias personales o laborales que pueden motivar el acoso. Entre las más comunes se encuentran las que tienen que ver con el sexo o la orientación sexual de una persona, su origen, características físicas o creencias, desempeño de las tareas propias de su trabajo, etc. Si estás viviendo en primera persona una situación de acoso o sospechas que alguien de tu entorno está siendo acosado o acosada, no dudes en pedir ayuda. La UC ha establecido un procedimiento, recientemente actualizado, que asegura una respuesta rápida y garante de la privacidad y de los derechos de las personas. Nuestro protocolo protege también al alumnado en prácticas en empresas e instituciones. The University of Cantabria is firmly committed to combating all forms of harassment towards a member of the university community, whether of a sexual, physical, psychological or moral nature. There are many personal or work-related circumstances that can lead to harassment. Among the most common are those that have to do with a person's sex or sexual orientation, origin, physical characteristics or beliefs, performance of work-related tasks, etc. If you are experiencing harassment at first hand or suspect that someone around you is being harassed, do not hesitate to ask for help. The University of Cantabria has established a recently updated procedure that ensures a rapid response and guarantees the privacy and rights of individuals. Our protocol also protects students on work placements in companies and institutions.

Islamophobia can be defined as the fear of or prejudiced viewpoint towards Islam, Muslims and matters pertaining to them. Whether it takes the shape of daily forms of racism and discrimination or more violent forms, Islamophobia is a violation of human rights and a threat to social cohesion. Young people are of course not immune to this. Young men and women are obviously affected when they become targets of Islamophobic attacks and abuse.
