Du 7 au 22 Avril 2021, une recherche systématique de drogues illicites dans les urines a été réalisée chez tous les patients consécutivement admis pour syndrome coronarien aigu avec sus-décalage du segment ST (STEMI) dans 39 centres frannçais. Le critère de jugement principal était la survenue du critère composite associant décès, arrêts cardiaques récupérés et chocs cardiogéniques. Le critère de jugement secondaire était la prévalence de la détection de drogues illicites à l'admission. Ainsi, parmi les 325 patients admis pour STEMI (âge moyen 62±13 ans, 79% d'hommes), 41 (12.6%) avaient un test positif à l'admission (cannabis 88%, opioïdes 37%, cocaïne 10%, 3,4-methylenedioxymethamphetamine 5 %). Cette proportion atteint même 34% lorsqu'on s'intéresse aux patients de moins de 50 ans.
