Book Description
The authors report results of the searches for pentaquark states in decays to pK{sub S}{sup 0}, {Xi}{sup -}{pi}{sup {+-}} and D{sup (*)}p performed at CDF using 250 pb{sup -1} sample of p{bar p} interactions at {radical}s of 1.96 TeV. No evidence for narrow resonances was found in either mode. In addition, they present measurements of properties of the recently discovered X(3872) particle.

Book Description
A summary of the Tevatron's measurements and searches for pentaquarks and X(3872) are presented. No evidence for pentaquarks has been observed, while the X(3872) has been confirmed and some characterization has been performed. While the initial measurements are of a simple nature, the X(3872) behaves similarly to the {psi}(2S), suggesting the X(3872) may be a form of unanticipated charmonium rather than a more exotic bound state of D mesons. In addition, a selected number of lifetime measurements of b-quark carrying hadrons are presented. While preliminary, these measurements are becoming competitive in precision with the B factories. These Proceedings end with some interesting measurements of the inclusive Pt and dijet mass cross-sections of b-quark containing jets.

Book Description
In 2003 the X(3872) particle was discovered by the Belle collaboration. Despite results collected since then, the nature of the state still remains unclear. In this contribution we report on new results on properties of the X(3872) state using data collected with CDF II detector at the Fermilab Tevatron. The dipion mass spectrum and angular distributions are used to determine the J{sup PC} quantum numbers of the state.

Book Description
We have carried out three searches of pentaquarks at CDF. First, we will present the search for a neutral pentaquark {Theta}{sub c} which decays into D* and proton. This search has been performed using 240 pb{sup -1} data samples of a displaced-two-track trigger. Second, we will present the search for a charged pentaquark {Theta}{sup +} which decays into K{sub s}{sup 0} and proton. This search has been performed using data samples of a minimum bias trigger and a jet trigger. Third, we will present the search for a doubly-charged pentaquark which decays into {Xi} and {pi}. This search has been performed using 220 pb{sup -1} data samples of a displaced two-track trigger and a jet trigger.

Book Description
The top quark plays an important role in the grand scheme of particle physics, and is also interesting on its own merits. We present recent results from CDF on top-quark physics based on 100-200 pb−1 of p{bar p} collision data. We have measured the t{bar t} cross section in different decay modes using several different techniques, and are beginning our studies of top-quark properties. New analyses for this conference include a measurement of [sigma]{sub t{bar t}} in the lepton-plus-jets channel using a neural net to distinguish signal and background events, and measurements of top-quark branching fractions.

Book Description
Recently there has been revival of interest in exotic baryon spectroscopy triggered by experimental evidence for pentaquarks containing u, d, s and c-quarks. They report results of the searches for pentaquark states in decays to pK{sub S}{sup 0}, {Xi}{sup -} {pi}{sup {+-}} and D*{sup -} p performed at CDF detector using 220 pb{sup -1} sample of p{bar p} interactions at {radical}s of 1.96 TeV. No evidence for narrow resonances were found in either mode.

Book Description
We present recent results from the Collider Detector at Fermilab. Searches for the top quark have established a lower bound of M{sub top}> 91 GeV/c2 (at 95% confidence level). A measurement of B{sup o}{bar B}{sup o} mixing has been obtained from b{bar b} 2!e[mu], ee events. Measurements of b-quark production have been obtained from e + X events and J/[psi] + K events. The mass of the W boson has been determined to be M{sub W} = 79.91 {plus minus} 0.39 GeV/c2. In searching for new gauge bosons, we have obtained the bounds M{sub Z{prime}}> 412 GeV/c2 and M{sub W{prime}}> 520 GeV/c2 (at 95% C.L.). The lower limits on the quark and lepton compositeness scales are 1.4 TeV. In the next two years of data collection, we expect significantly more events for numerous types of physics, due to 25 times more beam luminosity, and improvement to the detector. In the longer term, the Main Injector'' upgrade to the accelerator, further improvements to the detector are being planned to exploit the potentials for physics. We discuss prospects for the discovery of the top quark, precise measurement of properties of b quark, and searches for new physics beyond the Standard Model. 29 refs.
