However, slowly the Indians were pushed westward by the encroachment of more settlers. This tension finally culminated in the 1832 Black Hawk's War, which ended with the deportation of many tribes to distant reservations.

The Resurrection of the Animals explores the trinity of the natural world, the humans adrift in it, and the animals that accompany them. Jack Cristil (1925-2014) was a Southeastern Conference icon and the Voice of Bulldog athletics for more than five decades. In this biography, Cristil's remarkable life and career is shared with all Bulldog fans.
