Book Description
We perform the first three-dimensional measurement of the amplitudes of B {yields} {psi}(2S)K* and B {yields} {chi}{sub c1}K* decays and update our previous measurement for B {yields} J/{psi} K*. We use a data sample collected with the BABAR detector at the PEP-II storage ring, representing 232 million produced B{bar B} pairs. The longitudinal polarization of decays to the 1{sup ++} {chi}{sub c1} meson together with a K* meson, is found to be larger than that for the decay to the 1{sup --} {Psi} mesons. No direct CP-violating charge asymmetry is observed.

Book Description
The authors perform the first three-dimensional measurement of the amplitudes of B → [psi](2S)K* and B → [chi]{sub c1}K* decays and update the previous measurement B → J/[psi]K*. They use a data sample collected with the BABAR detector at the PEP-II storage ring, corresponding to 232 million B{bar B} pairs. The longitudinal polarization of decays involving a J{sup PC} = 1{sup ++} [chi]{sub c1} meson is found to be larger than that with a 1−− J/[psi] or [psi](2S) meson. No direct CP-violating charge asymmetry is observed.

Book Description
With a sample of about 227 million B[bar B] pairs recorded with the BABAR detector at the PEP-II storage ring the authors perform a full angular analysis of the decay B[sup 0] --> [phi]K*[sup 0](892). They measure the branching fraction to be (9.2 [+-] 0.9 [+-] 0.5) x 10[sup 06] and determine the fractions of longitudinal and parity-odd transverse contributions as f[sub L] = 0.52 [+-] 0.05 [+-] 0.02 and F[sub [perpendicular]] = 0.22 [+-] 0.05 [+-] 0.02, respectively. The phases of the parity-even and parity-odd transverse amplitudes relative to the longitudinal amplitude are found to be [phi][sub [parallel]] = 2.34[sub -0.20][sup +0.23] [+-] 0.05 rad and [phi][sub [perpendicular]] = 2.47 [+-] 0.25 [+-] 0.05 rad, respectively. The authors measure five CP asymmetries which provide important limits on CP violation originating from new physics. They also observe the decay B[sup 0] --> [phi]K*[sup 0](1430).

Book Description
Using data taken with the CLEO II detector, we present the first full angular analysis in the color-suppressed modes B° 2!J/[psi] K*° and B 2!J/[psi] K*. This leads to a complete determination of the decay amplitudes of these modes. In addition, we update the branching fractions for B 2!J/[psi] K and B 2!J/[psi] K*.

Book Description
We report an updated amplitude analysis of the charmless hadronic decays of neutral B mesons to K?−?°. With a sample of 454 million?(4S) → B{bar B} decays collected by the BABAR detector at the PEP-II asymmetric-energy B Factory at SLAC, we measure the magnitudes and phases of the intermediate resonant and nonresonant amplitudes for B° and B° decays and determine the corresponding CP-averaged fit fractions and charge asymmetries.

Book Description
Using 385 fb−1 of ee− collisions, they study the amplitudes of the singly Cabibbo-suppressed decay D° → K−K+?°. They measure the strong phase difference between the {bar D}° and D° decays to K*(892)+K− to be -35.5{sup o} ± 1.9{sup o}(stat) ± 2.2{sup o}(syst), and their amplitude ratio to be 0.599 ± 0.013(stat) ± 0.011(syst). They observe contributions from the K? and K−K+ scalar and vector amplitudes, and analyze their angular moments. They find no evidence for charged?, nor for higher spin states. They also perform a partial wave analysis of the K−K+ system in a limited mass range.

Book Description
We have measured the time-dependent decay rate for the process B [yields] J/[psi] K*[sup 0](892) in a sample of about 88 million [Upsilon](4S) [yields] B[bar B] decays collected with the BABAR detector at the PEP-II asymmetric-energy B Factory at SLAC. In this sample we study flavor-tagged events in which one neutral B meson is reconstructed in the J/[psi]K*[sup 0] or J/[psi] [bar K]*[sup 0] final state. We measure the coefficients of the cosine and sine terms in the time-dependent asymmetries for J/[psi]K*[sup 0] and J/[psi][bar K]*[sup 0], find them to be consistent with the Standard Model expectations, and set upper limits at 90% C.L. on the decay amplitude ratios A([bar B][sup 0] [yields] J/[psi]K*[sup 0])/A(B[sup 0] [yields] J/[psi]K*[sup 0])

Book Description
We perform an amplitude analysis of B{sup ±} 2!{var_phi}(1020)K*(892){sup ±} decay with a sample of about 384 million B{bar B} pairs recorded with the BABAR detector. Overall, twelve parameters are measured, including the fractions of longitudinal f{sub L} and parity-odd transverse f{sub {perpendicular}} amplitudes, branching fraction, strong phases, and six parameters sensitive to CP-violation. We use the dependence on the K[pi] invariant mass of the interference between the J{sup P} = 1− and 0 K[pi] components to resolve the discrete ambiguity in the determination of the strong and weak phases. Our measurements of f{sub L} = 0.49 ± 0.05 ± 0.03, f{sub {perpendicular}} = 0.21 {+-} 0.05 {+-} 0.02, and the strong phases point to the presence of a substantial helicity-plus amplitude from a presently unknown source.

Book Description
The authors present a measurement of the decay amplitudes in B[yields] J/[psi] K*(892) channels using 20.7 fb[sup -1] of data collected at the[Upsilon](4S) resonance with the BABAR detector at PEP-II. They measure a P-wave fraction R[perpendicular]= (16.0[+-] 3.2[+-] 1.4)% and a longitudinal polarization fraction (59.7[+-] 2.8[+-] 2.4)%. The measurement of a relative phase that is neither 0 nor[pi], [psi][parallel]= 2.50[+-] 0.20[+-] 0.08 radians, favors a departure from the factorization hypothesis. Although the decay B[yields] J/[psi] K[pi] proceeds mainly via K*(892), there is also evidence for K*[sub 2](1430) and K[pi] S-wave contributions.
