Book Description
Real-life isn't always cute, cuddly, and comfortable. The first Christmas was anything but, and yet the love story that surrounds it defies imagination. The author narrates the story of what might have happened through a combination of humor, speculation, and contemporary application to our lives. The book is written to show us God's love and how hard it is for us to sometimes accept God's plan for our lives. It will cause us to reflect and consider all our preconceived notions of the first Christmas. Mary and Joseph's story is a love story, pure and simple. It's the story of a young couple that overcame obstacles you never dreamed of. We have a hero every girl dreams of meeting. We have a heroine every girl admires. And we have every trope, emotion, and roadblock to wedded bliss you could ever fathom. Matthew and Luke wrote the outline that R. Marshall Wright has turned it into the greatest love story God ever told.Just imagine? What if your name is Mary, and an angel appeared and told you that you are going to have God's baby? What if you are only fourteen years old? What if you weren't married? What if your name is Joseph, and you are engaged to Mary? You haven't been intimate and one day you find out she's pregnant? What do you do with a girl you thought you loved who is having a baby by another man? What do you do when the angel tells you to marry her? How do you tell your very pregnant wife she's going to stay in a barn? How do you tell a young mother, at two in the morning, to pack her things to leave for Egypt? How does your conscience handle 65 babies dying so yours can live? How do you return home to the family who rejected you and start over? Let's look at some possible answers to tough these questions and find love along the way.

Book Description
The premise of Mary and Joseph's Untold Story is that the first Christmas wasn't the cute, cuddly, and comfortable scene that is played out every year through children's pageants presented, the front of Christmas cards sent and received, and Christmas Eve worship every December 24th. But then I thought, "What was it like? What might have really happened?" Scripture gives us the basics, but it doesn't really tell us much. "Mary and Joseph's Untold Story" is about what might have happened between the lines. In other words, we know what Matthew and Luke wrote, but what didn't they tell us and why? And what did they or didn't they know since Mary was their only reliable source. Did they filter her words for the sake of brevity or did much of what happened for a year and half to two years after the birth of her first born remain in her heart, never to be told? Was her story and Joseph's not seemingly important? These are some of the mysteries I have explored. "Mary and Joseph's Untold Story" is speculative historical fiction. First, let me make it clear, I'm not a heretic trying to change the beliefs or idyllic pictures you may have held onto your whole life. In fact, I'm an evangelical Christian (aren't labels great) and the book is a work of fiction! It is not a theological treatise on the birth of the Christ. It is not a commentary on what Matthew and Luke wrote or what they really meant. There is very little theology anywhere in the book. Why? Because my concern is not with what was written or interpreting it. I want to know what happened where nothing was written and what were the human and emotional reactions of Mary and Joseph when God decided to rock their world. The book is an historical novel. It's basis is in recorded history. Mary and Joseph are very real. Elizabeth and Zechariah are very real. Simeon and Anna are very real. And Herod and his offspring are very, very real. The events I'm writing about are also historical. There is Mary's story, a visit to Elizabeth, Joseph's story, the trip to Bethlehem and the birth of Christ, the flight to Egypt and the return to Nazareth. They are all very real. But here's where the fiction comes in...the rest of the characters? All fictional. All figments of my imagination and you know the disclaimer: any resemblance to any person, living or dead, is coincidental. I doubt any of my fictional characters ever lived, but it is possible someone similar to them might have. And this is where the speculation comes in.Other than the historical facts, did anything in my book ever happen? Who knows. It might have. I can't really say I'm right, but you can't say it didn't happen. That's why it goes beyond fiction to become speculative fiction. My sole purpose was to try to create a good story and get you to think. Perhaps revisit some of your preconceived notions about the cuteness, cuddliness, and comfortableness of the first Christmas.

Book Description
She's the most famous woman in history, yet almost nothing is known about her. Although she's portrayed as the gentlest and most tragic of all women, her name has been used as an excuse for internecine hatred and wars between peoples. But who was Mary, mother of Jesus Christ? What type of family did she have? What was the community like in which she grew from child to teenager forced to marry a man three times her age? And why have virtually all the details of her early life been obscured and censored by the writers of the Bible? In The Book of Mary, novelist Alan Gold looks at first century Israel under the iron heels of Roman occupation and uncovers what life was like for a young woman in a distant outpost of the most aggressive and merciless Empire in history. Following Mary's story from teenager to a young woman married to a widower, to mother, and then to become a devotee of the new religion her Son had created. This tragic yet virtually unknown woman is forced to witness the excruciating pain of her son's crucifixion.

Book Description
What does a man do when his wife-to-be says she's carrying the child of God? Joseph of Bethlehem finds himself in circumstances that would test anyone's faith, when suddenly responsible for a young girl named Mary, and in the path of an unrelenting waterfall of events for which no one was prepared. How close is the Nativity story of today to what was told a few generations after Jesus' birth? Is Joseph the man you thought him to be? How will Joseph overcome all that threatens the birth of Mary's child, and would history have played out differently if another man had been chosen? There is always another side to every story. Generations have passed since God was an active participant in lives of the tribes of Jerusalem, and the Roman occupation of the Holy land was becoming increasingly intolerable. Experienced from the perspective of Joseph leading up to the days of Jesus' birth, it is the untold story of a man who learns to love again and a renewal of faith in his God. Joseph of Bethlehem brings this unique man out from the shadows of history and presents a relatable tale of man who faced difficult tests of character and faith. Hill based "Joseph of Bethlehem" upon the biblical and ancient texts written around the same time as those included in the Bible and the Quran Surah, and expands upon what is commonly taught about this holy couple and the turns leading up to the birth of Jesus.

Book Description
Jesus comes to life in this fascinating modern biography excerpted from The Urantia Book. Many of these historical stories are familiar to readers of the New Testament but dozens are new, including the missing years not found in the Bible. Here you discover Jesus presented as never before, both as divine Son and human hero whose matchless life inspires, comforts, and transforms you. It is beautifully written in modern, page-turning prose and complemented with 106 paintings from 35 renowned artists, including 42 originally commissioned works you will see for the first time. The paintings run the gamut of fine art celebrating the life of Christ, both classic and modern. These artists poured their souls into these portraits of higher spiritual reality. Our deep appreciation and humble gratitude go out to each one of them. These paintings illustrate Jesus' life journey from his humble birth and childhood to adolescence and manhood; from private to public ministry and on to his death, resurrection, and ascension. The artwork celebrates his diverse life as son, father-brother, carpenter, boat designer and builder, tutor, translator, caravan conductor, teacher, healer, minister, and friend. No one knows what Jesus looked like, but these artists painted their soulful interpretations to spark our imagination of these scenes from the Master's life. Our intent is to give you a visual communion with Jesus that complements the enthralling narrative. This impeccably designed book provides relevant and empowering spiritual insights, helping you navigate the challenging yet promising conditions of the 21st century. We live in an exciting era of unprecedented improvements in our material lives brought about by scientific, industrial, and social achievements. Yet despite all this progress, many souls feel lonely and displaced. We need God and have an innate thirst for spiritual answers because of that "still, small voice" that lives within us. Finding God by living the personal religion of Jesus satisfies that thirst. The search for the genuine Jesus continues to intrigue humanity. Since the Bible only records an estimated 50 days of his life, it follows that there is more to his story. You will find it here in this detailed history of the Master's entire life, including the public ministry recorded in the Gospels. It provides a coherent and seamless biography of this magnificent personality who continues to shape spiritual progress in our world. The story of Jesus is one of the most enthralling chapters in human history. The closing passage of the Apostle John's gospel speaks to a life larger than even the world itself. How fitting that the last words of his gospel should be the first words of this book: "But there are also many things which Jesus did; were every one of them to be written, I suppose that the world itself would not contain the books that would be written." In John's day the Word was made flesh. In these days the Word is made book. The Untold Story of Jesus reveals the living Christ to members of the church that bears his name, as well as to worshipers of all world religions. It is sure to become a favorite volume for all who seek God.

Book Description
This is Volume One of "Humans, the Untold Story of Adam and Eve and their Descendants." "Humans" is riveting theology-fiction in which Christian Mjomba, a student of philosophy and theology with a runaway imagination, is determined to turn out a winning theological thesis. He is tempted to employ the devil, the Father of Lies who masquerades as the Angel of Light, as his mouthpiece for expounding on the Church's dogmas and he falls for bait! He imagines that, if he succeeds in bringing this off, he will effectively make Diabolos work for the salvation of souls instead of their damnation! And for that, unbeknownst to him, he becomes a marked man. This is a theology-fiction fest in which the main character (Mjomba) dies and continues the dialogue on the other side of the gulf that separates the living from the dead! He doesn't discover that he had actually been demon-possessed for the better part of his life, starting from around the time he quit the seminary to return to lay life, until the moment he sees the Ruler of the Underworld, at the head of a column of demons, bearing down on him with the obvious intention of dragging him to his assigned dungeon in the belly of hell.
