En esta obra se tratan los aspectos conceptuales y metodológicos más relevantes para entender el desarrollo de la psicología forense en el ámbito laboral. En el primer bloque del manual se expone un amplio marco teórico en torno a los riesgos psicosociales, la psicopatología laboral, la violencia en el trabajo y, sobre todo, el acoso laboral o mobbing, ya que se trata del fenómeno con mayor potencial traumático y, por tanto, de mayor interés para el psicólogo forense, no solo por su cada vez mayor presencia en los tribunales, sino también por el devastador impacto psicológico que tiene en las víctimas. A continuación, se describen los principales hallazgos empíricos (prevalencia, psicopatología, etc.), se desarrolla el marco legislativo más relevante en España y Latinoamérica y se profundiza en los aspectos jurisprudenciales de mayor interés para el perito. Desde un punto de vista metodológico y aplicado, la obra recoge las principales pautas para la evaluación forense del estrés, el burnout y la psicopatología y su relación con la capacidad laboral. De manera mucho más extensa se realiza un análisis profundo del acoso laboral desde un prisma victimológico, tratando dicho fenómeno desde un paradigma clínico-forense y detallando paso a paso los protocolos de actuación para la evaluación pericial del daño psíquico (entrevistas, pruebas, método científico, análisis funcional, aproximación multifuente, multimétodo, etc.). La obra finaliza con dos supuestos prácticos, informe pericial y contrainforme, con los que se ejemplifica el trabajo habitual del psicólogo forense, tanto en el ámbito privado como en el público.
