Résumé : Introduction : la participation au dépistage organisé du cancer colorectal est trop faible. Des études nationales ont identifié des freins attribuables aux médecins et d'autres attribuables aux patients. Notre objectif est de comprendre si les déterminants à la participation du dépistage organisé du cancer colorectal déjà explorés sont présents en Corse. Nos objectifs secondaires sont d'identifier ces freins, ainsi que d'identifier des moyens pour les contourner. Méthodes : notre travail s'articule en deux études. La première est une étude quantitative par questionnaire auprès de la patientèle des médecins généralistes de Haute-Corse. La seconde est une étude qualitative par focus groups auprès de médecins généralistes de Haute-Corse. Résultats : pour les patients, le manque de temps, la manipulation des selles et la peur du cancer n'apparaissaient pas dans notre étude comme des freins à la participation au dépistage. Selon eux, le déterminant principal est l'implication de leur médecin traitant. Les médecins se sentent impliqués dans les démarches de dépistage. Les freins évoqués par les médecins sont : le manque de temps, l'oubli, le manque de formation, (beaucoup ignoraient qu'un kit pouvait être distribué en l'absence de courrier), le manque de confiance dans le test OC Sensor. Discussion : les freins cités dans les précédentes parutions ont été abordés. Les pistes d'amélioration sont : Renforcer la formation médicale initiale. Mise en place de rappels informatiques automatiques. Une meilleure médiatisation du cancer colorectal et de son dépistage. Distribution des kits par les pharmacies.
