Actuellement, il existe peu d'études sur le Langage des enfants présentant des Troubles de la Conduite et du Comportement. Certains auteurs commencent à s'y intéresser et ont mis en évidence une corrélation entre les troubles du langage oral et ceux du comportement, mais le langage écrit n'a, pour l'heure, fait l'objet que de rares recherches. Partant de ce constat, nous avons décidé d'analyser les productions écrites de douze enfants de dix à quatorze ans, pris en charge en I.T.E.P. ou en S.E.S.S.D. Nous avons proposé diverses épreuves écrites en variant les contraintes: un récit induit, un autre semi-induiret un dernier libre. Pour ne pas pénaliser ceux qui refusent d'écrire, nous avons décidé de leur laisser le choix entre deux modalités de passation: soit être scripteur, soit dicter à l'adulte. De plus, nous avons constaté que ces jeunes manifestent un réel intérêt pour l'Ecriture et nous avons donc réalisé un entretien spontané pour déterminer quelle était leur représentation de l'Ecrit. Cette étude a permis de mettre en évidence que ces jeunes, dits en « échec scolaire» voire en refus de toute scolarité et qui parfois rejettent l'écrit, en possèdent cependant les capacités et les notions. La dictée à l'adulte est un moyen facilitateur pour ces enfants puisqu'elle permet de les libérer des contraintes relatives à la transcription. Par ailleurs, nous avons été confrontés à un refus catégorique à certaines épreuves pouvant évoquer pour quelques uns d'entre eux un passé scolaire douloureux. Cette expérience a contribué à mettre en évidence la nécessité de prendre en considération et de comprendre leur vision et leur vécu face à l'Ecrit dans la prise en charge orthophonique des troubles dans ce domaine. A l'issue de ce travail, nous proposons quelques perspectives rééducatives.
