Vu les limites de l'Union Africaine, l'ONU a pris le relais. En somme, pour que l'Union Africaine puisse se positionner comme pôle de puissance capable en matière de prévention et de résolution des conflits sur son continent, il est important de convoquer son positionnement en réorganisant ses missions, sans toutefois omettre de réorienter son dispositif du normatif vers le sécuritaire.

This book examines a decade-long period of instability, violence and state decay in Central Africa from 1996, when the war started, to 2006, when elections formally ended the political transition in the Democratic Republic of Congo.
