Contexte : l'année 2018 a marqué une avancée majeure pour la télémédecine grâce à la reconnaissance officielle par l'Assurance Maladie de la téléconsultation et de la télé-expertise. Cependant, malgré cette reconnaissance, la télémédecine s'est développée lentement et n'a pris son essor qu'à la suite d'une crise sanitaire majeur induite par le coronavirus en mars 2020. Objectif : évaluer le ressenti des médecins généralistes sur l'impact de la télémédecine dans l'évolution de leur pratique médicale. Méthode : Étude qualitative avec recueil de données par entretiens individuels semi-dirigés auprès de médecins généralistes libéraux de Gironde. Réalisation d'un échantillonnage à variation maximale jusqu'à saturation des données. Analyse par théorisation ancrée assistée par logiciel NVivo 12® et triangulation par deux chercheurs. Résultat : 11 médecins généralistes ont été interrogés entre janvier et juin 2020. Pour eux, la télémédecine répondait à l'évolution naturelle de la médecine, s'adaptant aux besoins de communication de la société actuelle. L'impact sur la relation médecin-patient et le risque de consumérisme médical étaient au cœur des préoccupations. Les médecins exprimaient donc le besoin d'un meilleur encadrement de cette pratique. Le fort déploiement de la téléconsultation lors de la crise du coronavirus a démontré un impact positif sur la relation médecin-patient et un bon respect du parcours de soins par les patients. Conclusion : les médecins généralistes ont un ressenti plutôt positif concernant l'évolution de leur pratique. La télémédecine est vu comme un outil d'avenir, complémentaire à la consultation physique, mais son développement nécessite d'améliorer la communication entre les autorités de santé et le corps médical.
