She was born 9 March 1808 in Georgia. "Early in the year 1826 he [Richard] brought his young wife to the home he had prepared for her, in what was then Pike Co., but which became a portion of Crenshaw Co. [Alabama] at its formation in 1867."--P. 2. Richard Whitehead Horn died 7 May 1889. Rebecca Cox Horn died 7 January 1895. Descendants and relatives lived in Alabama, Georgia, Florida, North Carolina, South Carolina, Virginia, Texas, Illinois and elsewhere.
