Abordar desastres supone trabajar con mucha presión y más en entornos donde reina el desconcierto. Aquí se reúnen estudios de casos muy bien escogidos. La conclusión es clara: debería prestarse más atención a los aspectos sociales. En lugar de abusar del impacto emocional, el periodismo debería contribuir más a que las personas afectadas supieran qué han de hacer o bien, en el momento de tratar las causas, las desigualdades sociales tendrían que estar más presentes.
