Book Description
This delightful guide gives new grandmas clear direction on how to navigate foreign territory. Celebrated columnist Adair Lara advises on how to choose a decent name (Oopsie? Boopsie?). She outlines how to give advice without getting a Dr. Sears guide chucked at the head. She offers wise counsel on how to stay on the parents' good side (hint: don't say anything, ever). Hilarious in its blunt truisms, The Granny Diaries steers around the shoals of grandma sentimentality. And yet, having fallen madly in love with her own grandchildren, Adair affirms that the years after the big G truly are golden.

Book Description
Franny O’Connell and Luke Deback come from very different backgrounds. Franny’s father is an oil tycoon, so he has never wanted for anything. Luke, on the other hand, comes from a poor family and struggled most of his childhood. Regardless of their economic status, the boys are both very intelligent and become fast friends. They never could have expected to remain friends for life, but their paths continue to intersect through college, marriage, and beyond. Life isn’t simple, though. Even when flying high, it’s easy to trip and fall. Based on a piece of art featuring stone steps and water in author Guy Kouche’s dining room, The Steps is a story of love, infidelity, overcoming adversity, and searching for happiness as boys become men but remain friends forever.

“In this book, Chris says, ‘Your yes is what the Lord is patiently waiting for.’ I’m so thankful that Chris said yes when given the instruction to write this book, and I believe you, too, will be grateful for the YES as you read and receive revelation on the subject of restoring true identity ... I encourage you to read this book; to hear the heartbeat of the Father on its pages; and in the end, allow Jesus to restore true identity in your very own life.” — Dean Sikes, Founder, YouMatter Dean Sikes Ministries “In Restoring True Identity, Chris Brooks blends his transparent journey with powerful revelation and scriptural application to write a profound testimony of hope for those in the body of Christ who need encouragement and strength ... Book Description
When I was fifteen years old, I married the boy that I had fallen in love with when I was just thirteen. Gerald was the only boy I ever truly loved, and after we married, we had to leave our little "ghost town" of Jacinto and move to Kenosha, Wisconsin, to make a living. I had never been more than twenty-five miles from home until then. My parents raised me in the Methodist religion, but after moving to Kenosha, I quit church completely and went deep into sin. The nightlife in the juke joints really got a hold of me, and I was lured into a life I never thought I'd live. I found out that that kind of life only leads to despair and heartbreak, and I began to wonder if God was real. Would He help a poor sinner like me? What life had in store for me proved that God is real and that He gave his only son, Jesus, so that I could have everlasting life. On my journey to find this truth, I've seen the good, the bad, and the ugly in religion. I've seen false prophets, cults, and self-loving preachers. Come walk with me on my journey. I think in the end, you will have to agree with an old Baptist preacher who once said, "I do believe that old gal is real for God!"
