The main goal of this book is to share knowledge on milk production and reproductive performances of cross-bred cattle and the effect of both genetic and non genetic factors on these performances based on research results which are conducted in different areas on different cross- bred cattle. Production environments vary as a result of different management practices and constantly changing climatic conditions leading to variability in animal performance. An animal of high genetic value may perform dismally when the production environment is not right due to the negative interaction between the animal's genes and its environment. The second part provides good information on reproductive performances of cross-bred cattle and the effect of both genetic and non genetic factors on this performance based on research results.
