The study on Denmark by Hanne Traberg and Poul Bache describes higher education, recent changes, structure of outflow from higher education, women in the outflow, changes in transition to working life, and the labor market. The study of Spain by Antonio Casanueva de Luis looks at the Spanish system and its outflow, enrollment trends, developments in graduate employment, and policy development. The section on the United States by E. Stephen Hunt explores trends in the flow of post-secondary students and trends in the educational major and its relation to work.
