Si nos tomamos en serio el papel de la fotografía en la cultura contemporánea como estructura básica de la mayor parte de las imágenes que vemos, descubriremos que su calado no ha dejado de aumentar desde la providencial aparición histórica del daguerrotipo en el siglo XIX. Ya en ese origen parecía destinada a comparecer ante la Historia como artefacto largamente esperado.
