Prac tically all of the unshelled nuts Went to foreign countries. Approximately 39 per cent of the shelled nuts, however, were exported from.north China to other Chinese markets. The'main foreign purchasers of Shelled.peanuts were the United States, germany, 'holland, France and Japan. The American market is interested only in graded cargo, especially 28/30's, While the European market is interested mainly in nuts of fair average quality which are used chiefly for oil crushing. The imports of apples from all sources amounted to boxes in November compared With bcxes in October and boxes in November 1925. The imports of oranges amounted to boxes in November against 1533000 in October and in November 1925. Of the dried fruit the imports fif currants were smaller in November than in October but larger than in November 1925, while imports of raisins were somewhat smaller than in the preceding month and in November 1925.
