I got my first computer in 1986. That was when I started playing with rhymes. My son by accident wiped the hard drive. That taught me to always make a hard copy of my musings. Since then I have played at my rhymes. I never thought I would get it printed. I got a new boss three years ago, and she encouraged me to take the plunge. If she had not been so positive, I probably would never of had the nerve to put it out there. I am still not confident that it is worth reading. For better or for worse, here are some of my ramblings.

Book Description
In a future where emotions are deemed a threat, Kai, a cyborg with a fragmented past, stumbles upon a hidden truth that throws his world into chaos. Haunted by flickering memories of a betrayal, Kai embarks on a thrilling journey to uncover the secrets buried within his own mind. Aided by Anya, a fierce rebel fighter, and Maya, a resourceful scavenger, Kai must navigate the treacherous labyrinth of a decaying city and infiltrate the heart of the emotionless corporation, Zenith. Their fight for the truth takes them from desolate ruins to hidden rebel hideouts, where they uncover a shocking conspiracy. Zenith, the corporation that controls every aspect of life, is not just suppressing emotions – they are developing technology to erase them entirely. As Kai delves deeper into the stolen data chip, he discovers a classified project codenamed 'Emotional Suppression'. This revelation sheds light on the Uprising, a rebellion Kai unknowingly played a part in, and ignites a fire within him. The data suggests Kai himself was a pawn in Zenith's twisted game. Fragmented memories resurface, painting a picture of a loyal soldier framed for a crime he didn't commit. Kai's former friend, Lucas, emerges as a potential ally, someone who may hold the key to unlocking the secrets of the past. But with Zenith hot on their trail, Kai and Anya must face a relentless enemy. Their fight isn't just about personal redemption; it's about the future of humanity itself. As they build an unlikely alliance with other rebels, Kai and Anya become symbols of resistance in a world devoid of feeling. Can they decipher the cryptic files, expose Zenith's true motives, and find Lucas before it's too late? In this gripping techno-thriller, Kai's journey for self-discovery becomes a fight for the very soul of humanity, where emotions are not a weakness, but a weapon against a sterile, emotionless world.

Book Description
Held captive in the barbarian kingdom of Venda, Lia and Rafe have little chance of escape . . . and even less of being together. Desperate to save her life, Lia's erstwhile assassin, Kaden, has told the Vendan Komisar that she has a magical gift, and the Komisar's interest in Lia is greater than either Kaden or Lia foresaw. Meanwhile, the foundations of Lia's deeply-held beliefs are crumbling beneath her. Nothing is straightforward: there's Rafe, who lied to her, but has sacrificed his freedom to protect her; Kaden, who meant to assassinate her but has now saved her life; and the Vendans, whom she always believed to be barbarians but whom she now realizes are people who have been terribly brutalized by the kingdoms of Dalbreck and Morrighan. Wrestling with her upbringing, her gift, and her very sense of self, Lia will have to make powerful choices that affect her country, her people . . . and her own destiny.

Paranormal Victorian steampunk fantasy, with Gothic horror and romance. A book of manners, magic and mayhem. After her father is murdered, budding scientist Jemima Hardcastle is packed off to boarding school by her guardian and heir to Willow Park, Edward Huntington. When they finally meet again at a house party, four years later, Edward doesn’t recognise his ward and the two share a flirtation that is broken when Jemima confesses her true identity. The murder of another party guest and the theft of a precious gem interrupt any chance they have to resolve their feelings. Edward coldly ships Jemima off once more – this time back to her old home. At Willow Park, under the chaperonage of the odious Aunt Prudence and meek cousin Milly, Jemima is expected to concentrate on her needlework. Instead, she finds a friend in Edward’s man, Fulton, who shows her the artificial leg his employer built for him. Impressed by this revelation of scientific genius and generosity, Jemima’s esteem for Edward rises and she longs to see him again — but he does not arrive home as planned. When she discovers he has been abducted, Jemima plans a rescue, but unbeknownst to her, Edward is a gentleman magician and his devices have more than science on their side. She and Fulton plunge into London’s hidden world of dark sorcery as they search everywhere for Edward — in the slums, manufactureys, and even a bawdy house. When they finally find him, Jemima’s life is already on the line. As Edward struggles with his feelings for his ward, Jemima’s only hope for survival is if he uses one of his devices to revive the vampiric beast, Geneck … but the ensuing havoc could destroy London itself.
