Laurie arrived at Junior High and strolled about as if it were her personal garden. She was happy, charming, the centre of the crowd. Although Carrie didn't like anything about Laurie, she would be her entrance into the world of school royalty. For as the Best Friend of Queen Laurie she would no longer be a nerd, but a somebody.
