Introduction : En France, le cancer du col utérin est le douzième cancer chez la femme par sa fréquence. Son pic d’incidence est à 40 ans. Le pronostic des femmes jeunes atteintes d’un cancer du col utérin est souvent rapporté comme étant plus sombre. Le but de cette étude est de déterminer les facteurs pronostiques des cancers du col utérin chez la femme de 35 ans ou moins. Patientes et Méthodes : Il s’agit d’une étude bicentrique, rétrospective reprenant les cas de cancers du col utérin chez les femmes de 35 ans et moins prises en charge de janvier 2000 à décembre 2010. La survie globale et la survie sans récidive ont été calculées avec la méthode Kaplan-Meier. Les facteurs pronostiques ont été étudiés après construction de modèles de Cox. Le Log-rank test était utilisé pour comparer les survies. Résultats : Cent neuf patientes ont été incluses. La survie médiane globale était estimée à 119,3 mois avec une survie globale à 5 ans de 78%. La médiane de survie sans rechute était estimée à 109,1 mois avec une survie sans récidive à 5 ans de 76%. Les facteurs pronostiques de survie globale retrouvés étaient: la taille tumorale > 0,8 cm et le fait d’être enceinte au moment du diagnostic. Seule la taille tumorale > 0,8 cm était retrouvée comme étant un facteur pronostique de survie sans récidive. Conclusion : La taille tumorale et le diagnostic en cours de grossesse sont des facteurs déterminants pour la stratégie thérapeutique à adopter. La prise en charge de ces patientes doit être multidisciplinaire dans le but de leur assurer une prise en charge optimale sur le plan oncologique et de préserver leur fertilité et leur fonction ovarienne quand cela est possible. Dans l’avenir, il faudra intégrer aux décisions thérapeutiques l’utilisation de nouveaux marqueurs moléculaires.

However, the recognition that prognostic factors often have a greater impact on outcome than available therapies and the proliferation of biochemical, molecular, and genetic markers have resulted in renewed interest in this field. The outcome in patients with cancer is determined by a combination of numerous factors. Presently, the most widely recognized are the extent of disease, histologic type of tumor, and treatment. It has been known for some time that additional factors also influence outcome. These guidelines have been developed to support countries to relieve pain in their paediatric populations. These guidelines address persisting pain in children caused by conditions such as cancer, HIV/AIDS, sickle-cell disease, burns, trauma, and phantom limb pain. Recommendations -- developed following a careful and transparent appraisal of available evidence -- are presented for the pharmacological treatment of mild, moderate and severe pain. The guidelines include chapters on the various systems used to classify pain and on the evaluation of pain, which reviews the available tools for routine pain measurement in children. Provision of sustainable pain relief within health care systems is covered in a separate chapter. Since morphine and other opioid analgesics -- required for the relief of moderate-to-severe pain in children -- are listed under the 1961 UN Single Convention on Narcotic Drugs, the new guidelines include an annex explaining the Convention's requirements for the handling and procurement of opioid analgesics for the relief of pain.
