Author: Florentin Smarandache
Publisher: Infinite Study
ISBN:
Category : Literary Criticism

Pages : 19
Book Description
The PARADOXIST DISTICH consists of two verses, antithetic to each other, but which together amalgamate in a whole defining (or making connection with) the title. Commonly, the second verse negates the first, containing therefore an antonymic/antagonistic notion/collocation or opposite idea.

Unfolding the Labyrinth: Open Problems in Physics, Mathematics, Astrophysics, and other areas of science
Author: Florentin Smarandache
Publisher: Infinite Study
ISBN: 1599730138
Category : Mathematics
Languages : en
Pages : 140
Book Description
Throughout this book, we discuss some open problems in various branches of science, including mathematics, theoretical physics, astrophysics, geophysics etc. It is of our hope that some of the problems discussed in this book will find their place either in theoretical exploration or further experiments, while some parts of these problems may be found useful for scholarly stimulation. The present book is also intended for young physics and mathematics fellows who will perhaps find the unsolved problems described here are at least worth pondering. If this book provides only a few highlights of plausible solutions, it is merely to keep the fun of readers in discovering the answers by themselves. Bon voyage!

Neutrosophy, A New Branch of Philosophy
Author: Florentin Smarandache
Publisher: Infinite Study
ISBN:
Category :
Languages : en
Pages : 75
Book Description
In this paper we present a new branch of philosophy, called Neutrosophy, which studies the origin, nature, and scope of neutralities, as well as their interactions with different ideational spectra. Neutrosophy is a generalization of dialectics. While the Dialectics means the dynamics of opposites ( and), the Neutrosophy means the dynamics of opposites together with the neutrals between them: , , and . The Fundamental Thesis: Any idea is T% true, I% indeterminate, and F% false, where T, I, F are standard or non-standard subsets included in ]0-, 1+[. The Fundamental Theory: Every idea tends to be neutralized, diminished, balanced by ideas (not only , as Hegel asserted) - as a state of equilibrium. Neutrosophy is the base of neutrosophic logic, a multiple value logic that generalizes the fuzzy logic, of neutrosophic set that generalizes the fuzzy set, and of neutrosphic probability and neutrosophic statistics, which generalize the classical and imprecise probability and statistics respectively.
