Introduction Les progrès de la médecine, le vieillissement de la population et les déficits publics induisent une augmentation des coûts. Une des voies pour résoudre cette problématique est l'évaluation de la performance. L'objectif de l'étude était d'analyser la validité de contenu et de construit d'un modèle d'évaluation de la performance, le modèle EGIPSS dans sa dimension de la production pour évaluer la performance du CHRU de Lille. Matériel et méthodes Quatre-vingt-dix-neuf indicateurs provenant du Département d'Information Médicale, des contrats de pôle, de la DRFI, de la Délégation au marketing et à la communication, de la Délégation à la qualité ont été classés selon trois missions (soin, enseignement, recherche) et sept sous dimensions de la production selon le modèle EGIPSS : productivité, volume, continuité, globalité, humanisme, qualité technique et évaluation globale de la qualité. Les indicateurs provenaient des 14 pôles du CHRU de Lille. Une matrice de corrélation croisant ces 99 indicateurs et une Analyse par Composantes Principale ont été réalisées avec une analyse sur les variables et une analyse sur les pôles. Résultats Le premier axe de l'ACP correspondait à l'opposition entre indicateurs de qualité des soins et indicateurs de productivité et de volume d'articles et de séjours. Le deuxième axe opposait des indicateurs de volume de production de soin et de recherche à des indicateurs de productivité des dispositifs. Le troisième axe opposait des variables de publication à des variables de qualité technique dans l'exécution compétente. Conclusion Le modèle EGIPSS semble permettre une interprétation de ces indicateurs les uns par rapport aux autres et être applicable au CHRU de Lille dans ses missions. Une opérationnalisation de ce modèle à partir des indicateurs relevés en routine semble possible.
