Performance of a Two Phase Flow Mixing Chamber-Nozzle Combination
Author: A. J. Brown
Publisher:
ISBN:
Category :
Languages : en
Pages : 22
Book Description
The performance curves of a mixing chamber-nozzle combination are presented and the effects of supplying heated air to the chamber are discussed with the aid of curves showing the energy level available from isothermal and adiabatic gas expansions. Higher pressure ratios, across the nozzle, than those predicted by a critical flow design formula were achieved due to large phase slip and hence nozzle choking would seem not to be a problem. Some Problems in Horizontal Two-phase Two Component Flow
Author: Bobbie L. Richardson
Publisher:
ISBN:
Category : Fluid dynamics
Languages : en
Pages : 154
Book Description
A technique was developed for measuring the volume fraction of each phase, making use of the difference of the attenuation characteristics of the liquid and the vapor for gamma radiation. This technique was evaluated making use of a number of Lucite mockups with known void distributions.
