Contexte : la violence conjugale concerne 1 femme sur 10 en France et a une incidence majeure sur leur santé et celle de leurs enfants. La HAS recommande aux médecins généralistes de dépister la violence conjugale auprès de toutes leurs patientes, et particulièrement durant la période périnatale. Afin de faciliter cette pratique, notre étude propose d'intégrer le questionnaire WAST-short, outil de repérage des violences conjugales, à l'examen de surveillance médicale au 4e mois du nourrisson. Objectifs : ééterminer l'acceptabilité par les médecins généralistes et de PMI d'un dépistage systématique des violences conjugales au cours de la consultation de suivi médical du nourrisson et spécifier la place du carnet de santé dans cette démarche. Matériels et méthode : étude quantitative transversale descriptive et prospective à partir de questionnaires anonymes recueillis entre septembre et novembre 2022 auprès des médecins généralistes des Hautes-Pyrénées. Résultats : 83% des médecins interrogés estiment que la consultation de suivi du nourrisson est un moment propice au repérage des violences conjugales. Les médecins sont à l'aise avec les questions du WAST-short. Ce protocole de dépistage permet de sensibiliser les patients à l'impact des violences sur l'enfant, en revanche il n'est pas réalisable systématiquement en raison de la présence du conjoint à la consultation. 88% des médecins de l'étude jugent pertinent d'ajouter une information sur la violence conjugale dans le carnet de santé et 78% sont favorables à l'ajout du WAST-short à l'examen du 4e mois. Conclusion : le dépistage des violences conjugales grâce à l'outil WAST-short lors de la consultation de suivi du nourrisson est acceptable et pertinent. La prochaine mise à jour du carnet de santé pourrait intégrer une information sur la violence conjugale et son impact sur le développement du nourrisson.
