El presente estudio trata de profundizar en el comportamiento de los consumidores en el sector de la moda en tres países europeos: España, Italia y Finlandia. Una vez presentadas las generalidades teóricas del comportamiento de consumidor, se ha planteado un estudio de opinión en estos tres países para conocer cómo los individuos perciben y se adaptan a unas tendencias de moda cambiantes, y cómo su cultura impregna las decisiones de compra que estos llevan a cabo. En este trabajo, será posible detectar la importancia de la moda como reflejo de la sociedad y de la cultura de cada país. Además, permitirá conocer cómo los españoles, italianos y finlandeses se definen a sí mismos a través de la moda, que compuesta por los mismos elementos, es utilizada de forma diferente para transmitir ideas, a veces similares, y, en otras ocasiones, distintas. La elaboración de la encuesta se ha llevado a cabo mediante el programa informático Sphinx que, además, ha permitido obtener información ordenada facilitando el análisis empírico de los resultados obtenidos. Estos resultados permitirán, a su vez, obtener una imagen fehaciente del comportamiento de los consumidores españoles, italianos y finlandeses en el sector de la moda, así como conocer las diferencias básicas entre los hábitos de compra de cada uno de ellos.
