Book Description

Book Description
LE TRAVAIL PRESENTE DANS CE MEMOIRE REPRESENTE UNE CONTRIBUTION A L'ETUDE DES METHODES DE DETECTION DE RUPTURE DE MODELE ET A LEURS APPLICATIONS A LA DETECTION D'EVENEMENTS DANS LES SIGNAUX ET AU DIAGNOSTIC DE SYSTEMES. POUR METTRE EN EVIDENCE LES VARIATIONS QUI EXISTENT ENTRE LES DEUX APPLICATIONS LE MEMOIRE EST VOLONTAIREMENT ORGANISE EN DEUX PARTIES. LA PREMIERE PARTIE EST CONSACREE A LA DETECTION DE RUPTURE DE MODELE DANS LES SIGNAUX. LE PROBLEME EST TRADUIT EN TERME DE TEST D'HYPOTHESES APPLIQUE AUX RESIDUS ISSUS DE LA COMPARAISON MODELE-SIGNAL. APRES UNE ANALYSE DES TRAVAUX DANS CE DOMAINE, UN MODELE DE COMPORTEMENT SIMPLIFIE EST TOUT D'ABORD CONSIDERE POUR LA DETECTION ET LA RECONNAISSANCE D'EVENEMENTS. CELUI-CI EST ENSUITE APPLIQUE A L'AMELIORATION DES PERFORMANCES D'UN CAPTEUR A COURANTS DE FOUCAULT. CE MODELE NE PERMET CEPENDANT PAS DE DETECTER DES CHANGEMENTS DE CARACTERISTIQUES SPECTRALES ET NOUS PROPOSONS DE RECOURIR A UN MODELE PLUS COMPLET, CELUI DE PROCESSUS AUTOREGRESSIFS, QUI EST APPLIQUE A LA RESOLUTION DE PROBLEMES BIOMEDICAUX. LA DEUXIEME PARTIE DU MEMOIRE TRAITE DE DEFAUTS DE SYSTEMES. LE PRINCIPE DES METHODES DE DETECTION QUI SONT PRESENTEES EST BASE SUR UNE ANALYSE DE L'ECART MODELE-FONCTIONNEMENT COURANT ET PRIVILEGIE LA NOTION DE REDONDANCE ANALYTIQUE. ON DISTINGUE DEUX CLASSES DE METHODES QUI FONT APPEL RESPECTIVEMENT A L'ESTIMATION D'ETAT ET A L'ESTIMATION PARAMETRIQUE. LA PREMIERE RETIENT NOTRE ATTENTION ET EST APPLIQUEE AU DIAGNOSTIC D'UN PROCESSUS THERMIQUE. ON S'INTERESSE ENSUITE AU PROBLEME DE ROBUSTESSE DES METHODES DE DIAGNOSTIC VIS-A-VIS DES INCERTITUDES OU VARIATIONS DE PARAMETRES DU SYSTEME ETUDIE. APRES UNE PRESENTATION DES TECHNIQUES EXISTANTES ON PROPOSE, POUR RESOUDRE CE PROBLEME, UNE NOUVELLE METHODOLOGIE CONSISTANT A ENGENDRER DES RESIDUS QUI S'ADAPTENT AUX VARIATIONS DE PARAMETRES.

Book Description
Prognostics is the science of making predictions of engineering systems. It is part of a suite of techniques that determine whether a system is behaving within nominal operational performance and - if it does not - that determine what is wrong and how long it will take until the system no longer fulfills certain functional requirements. This book presents the latest developments and research findings on the topic of prognostics by the Prognostics Center of Excellence at NASA Ames Research Center. The book is intended to provide a practitioner with an understanding of the foundational concepts as well as practical tools to perform prognostics and health management on different types of engineering systems and in particular to predict remaining useful life.

Book Description
This book is a comprehensive reference on diffuse cystic lung diseases (DCLDs). DCLDs are a group of pathophysiologically heterogenous processes that are characterized by the presence of multiple spherical or irregularly shaped, thin-walled, air-filled spaces within the pulmonary parenchyma. In recent years, tremendous advancements have been made in these diseases leading to improved understanding of the underlying pathophysiology, and improved outcomes with targeted therapies. The authors, who are leading experts in the field, delineate DCLDs as a separate category distinct from other interstitial lung diseases, and have created this textbook specifically dedicated to this disease group. This book begins with a chapter introducing the definition and classification of DCLDs. Subsequent chapters address the pathogenic mechanisms underlying pulmonary cyst formation and provide a detailed overview of the radiological and pathological features of DCLDs. The common as well as uncommon causes of DCLDs are comprehensively reviewed in individual chapters, as are the varied clinical presentations and extrapulmonary manifestations, and approaches to management and treatment. The book culminates in a final chapter that presents a practical algorithmic approach to diagnosis that progresses from least invasive to most invasive approaches. This textbook provides a one-stop, comprehensive and integrated, clinical, radiologic, and pathologic overview of DCLDs that will be as useful to the practicing clinician as it is to the clinical investigator.
