El presente libro de Casos prácticos de Seguridad Social pretende ser un instrumento útil para el estudio práctico de la compleja materia de la Seguridad Social. En él se encontrarán casos prácticos sobre algunos de los problemas suscitados por los prin- cipales núcleos temáticos de la citada disciplina, entre ellos, su ámbito de aplicación, su régimen económico, su catálogo de prestaciones contributivas y no contributivas o, en fin, determi- nados regímenes especiales. La obra busca, esencialmente, ser de utilidad para su usuario (alumno o profesor). Así, el diseño de los casos propuestos parte de dos modelos diferentes.
