The Bryant & Stratton business colleges opened in Cleveland in 1854, beginning a chain of 90 commercial schools. The Boston school was 30th in the chain, and opened in 1865. The college moved multiple times and in 1912 the college had located to 334 Boylston Street in the Back Bay area of Boston. The school remained at that address until 1950, when it moved one block over to the corner of Newbury and Dartmouth Street. Later, Bryant and Stratton was aquired by Newbury College.
