David Evans (1804-1883) was the second son of Israel Evans and Abigail Alexander, and was born in Cecil County, Maryland. He married Mary Beck in 1826, and moved to Columbiana County and later Richland County, Ohio. They became Mormon converts, and moved to Missouri and then to Lehi, Utah. Descendants and relatives lived in Utah, California, Washington, Virginia and elsewhere. Some descendants immigrated to Alberta and elsewhere in Canada.
