In the year 1918 he was elected Vice President and m 1919 Acting President of Olivet University. In 1920, he was elected President Emeritus, as an expression of' apprec1at1on', respect and confidence of the Board of Trustees. Our President Emer1tus 18. One among ten thousand. Beloved of his students, respected by all who meet him, endeared to all who greet him. May the few remaining years that he IS permitted to spend with us be his best ones.
