Este livro busca entender as influências do ciclo de aprendizagem nas estratégias de aprendizagem e na satisfação dos alunos nos cursos de Ensino a Distância, adotados pelos discentes da Universidade X. Tem como objetivo analisar as dimensões do ciclo de aprendizagem que apresentam maiores influências nas estratégias de aprendizagem e na satisfação dos alunos com o curso EAD. Para que fosse alcançado tal objetivo, foram averiguados o ciclo de aprendizagem, as estratégias de aprendizagem (metacognitivas e autorregulatórias), por meio das quais se verificou a satisfação percebida pelos alunos, estabelecendo a associação entre estratégias e satisfação. Quanto à satisfação, ela acontece quando são atendidas ou eliminadas algumas necessidades, sendo que ocorre mediante fatores extrínsecos ou intrínsecos que maximizam o grau de satisfação. Considerando o aspecto motivacional, à medida que as necessidades são satisfeitas, alcança-se a satisfação. A amostra foi composta por 152 alunos, a coleta de dados foi efetuada por meio de questionário estruturado (survey). A proposta deste livro é mostrar qual a melhor estratégia do ciclo de Kolb para cada discente, segundo suas habilidades e facilidades para entender determinado conteúdo acadêmico.
