Excerpt from Forty-First Annual Report of the West Chicago Park Commissioners: For the Year Ending December 31, 1909 We began the year of 1909 without debt, with a substantial cash balance to the credit of the Board in our depositaries, and I am pleased to state that the same satisfactory condition prevails at the close of the year. NO portion of the tax levy of 1909 has been antici pated, and the balance in our General Fund Of is ample to cover all necessary expenses which may be incurred prior to the time we receive our funds from the collection of the tax levy Of 1909. The amount required during the coming year to retire the matur ing bonds and bonds that, should be called for payment, and to cover the interest on our bonded indebtedness, is shown below.
