Le comportement dépendant du temps d'une argile naturelle a été étudiée à partir d'essais de laboratoire sur des échantillons non remaniés en consolidation K°. Ce travail expérimental étendu permet de présenter la relation contrainte-déformation fonction du temps. Un modèle viscoélastique couplé a tout d'abord été développé pour cavuler le tassement en surface à long terme basé sur l'étude de cas concernant la ligne 1 du métro de Shanghai. Puis un modèle élastoviscoplastique a été construit à partir de la théorie de Perzyna et du modèle Cam Clay et introduit dans le code aux éléments finis CESAR_LCPC. Une procédure numérique spécifique a été développée prenant en compte les caractéristiques du sol et du tunnel à différentes étapes pendant et après la construction. Une étude de cas est également présentée et analysée. Elle montre les capacités du modèle à prendre en compte de façon satisfaisante les tassements à long terme mesurés.
