A report intended to identify and assess the attitudes of small-town Nebraska manufacturers toward their communities as places to live and conduct business. Examines their feelings on the following and other related subjects: community's ability to support industry; the effectiveness of the local infrastructure; community leadership; quality of life; and prospects for the future. It also attempts to discover how these attitudes vary according to (1) industry type (2) plant employment (3) years in operation, and (4) community size.
