Book Description
The Day of the Lord on a nation is its just judgment by God: a nation's full accountability to the just and loving God for the nation's sins throughout its history. The Bible shows many examples of God's just judgment of ancient nations as whole units. National judgments have continued through the centuries after Biblical times, but have become especially common in the last 80 years as nation after nation has come under atheistic communism or another dominating spiritual darkness. As with individuals, a nation that has sinned badly can be justly blessed by joining itself to the Lord Jesus and receiving His sacrifice for sinful mankind. For a nation to receive this blessing, believers in Jesus need to help the people in their land to want Jesus in their hearts and lives. This little book shows all of this and more.

Book Description
The Day of the Lord on a nation is its just judgment by God: a nation's full accountability to the just and loving God for the nation's sins throughout its history. In the Bible, the Day of the Lord refers to God's just judgment of a nation far more often than to Jesus' return to earth (which also is a good meaning). The Bible shows many examples of His judgment of ancient nations as whole units. This little book is written to show this vital picture in the Bible, so that believers in Jesus will turn to Him and hear Him accurately.

Book Description
The Bible book of Revelation is a prophetic warning of God's judgment upon mankind. It was presented in visions to Apostle John, who transmitted it to the early congregations at the beginning of the Christian era. An accurate understanding of the Word of God in general and Revelation more specifically can mean the difference between life or death, the difference between an eternal life of bliss in the kingdom of God or eternal death in the lake of fire. Apocalyptic Visions endeavors to provide such an understanding. Revelation reveals the culmination of a spiritual battle between God and Satan. It is a struggle for the very souls of mankind. Satan has made a challenge to the sovereignty of God and the motivations of man. The continued existence of man is at stake. The first prophecy of Genesis sets the stage for the whole theme of the Word of God, and Revelation brings it to a close. There are four distinct principles in Revelation, and a clear understanding of these elements and their interaction brings God's plan for mankind into focus. The serpent and his seed are at war with a woman and her seed. It is important that those who wish to please God be well informed with his will and commands. Those who live in accordance with the will of God receive part in the blessings of the kingdom of God.

Book Description
The Day of the Lord texts of Malachi (Mal 3:2, 7; 4:5) demonstrate that he seems to allude to Joel's Day of the Lord (2:11, 13, 31 [MT 3:4]). Malachi's Day of the Lord seems to have a strong inner-biblical relationship with the Day of the Lord motif of Joel. A significant interpretive loss is committed when allusion is recognized in the source text but ignored and not explored. Thus, the passages themselves call for an inner-biblical allusion study. In addition, the interpretive significance of Joel's Day of the Lord in Malachi has not been investigated comprehensively as the review of literature and intertextual and inner-biblical studies on Malachi validated. Thus, these are the interrelated questions: (a) "What are the criteria to verify the inner-biblical connection between Malachi and Joel on the Day of the Lord?" (b) "How did Malachi use Joel's Day of the Lord motif?" (c) "How did Malachi develop the Day of the Lord theme in his book?" There are three purposes of this study. The first is to identify objective criteria to verify the inner-biblical connection between Malachi and Joel on the Day of the Lord. The second is to determine how Malachi used Joel's Day of the Lord motif. The last is to ascertain how Malachi developed the Day of the Lord theme in his book.

Book Description
The hope of the believer is the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. We may long for the day when trials and tribulation will be ended and Christ will take us to be with Himself, but we are not to be impatient as we await that glad consummation. Christ Himself, seated on the throne of God, is the epitome of patience. “The husbandman waiteth for the precious fruit of the earth, and hath long patience for it, until he receive the early and latter rain” (James 5:7). Thus Paul spoke of the “patience of hope.” During all the centuries since Christ ascended to Heaven, as we count time on earth, He has waited patiently for the end of the church’s testimony.
