Book Description
This is a book for the person who is hungry for an answer. I know that feeling. I was stuck in it for years and as a Coach and Speaker, I have noticed there is a constant theme for us all. We have read all of the success books, we have gone to the seminars but when we go to execute their wonderful information a feeling comes up. We lay in bed and just don't "feel" like doing what they suggest even though we know it will make our life better. That "feeling" stops us from executing one or more steps they suggest we take to make our lives better. I couldn't overcome that feeling either. Here I was an alcoholic, a sex addict, sugar addict, spending addict, tobacco addict, love addict, I had gone bankrupt, been through two horrific divorces, a child custody battle, I played two professional sports I never wanted to play and I contemplated suicide. None of the books showed me or explained where that feeling comes from, why we all get it and how to overcome it. Without that information, I couldn't execute all of their wonderful suggestions. So this is my story and how I took all of that great information from all of those great success teachers, I collated it and then added to it. I discuss where that feeling comes from, why we all get it and how to overcome it. This book bridges the gap. When you have this information, this skillset to overcome that "feeling" than you can put into place all of their incredible advice and have the personal and professional success we are all searching for.

Book Description
Seriously . . . another book that tells you how to live a good life? Don’t we have enough of those? You’d think so. Yet, more people than ever are walking through life disconnected, disengaged, dissatisfied, mired in regret, declining health, and a near maniacal state of gut-wrenching autopilot busyness. Whatever is out there isn’t getting through. We don’t know who to trust. We don’t know what’s real and what’s fantasy. We don’t know how and where to begin and we don’t want to wade through another minute of advice that gives us hope, then saps our time and leaves us empty. How to Live a Good Life is your antidote; a practical and provocative modern-day manual for the pursuit of a life well lived. No need for blind faith or surrender of intelligence; everything you’ll discover is immediately actionable and subject to validation through your own experience. Drawn from the intersection of science, spirituality, and the author’s years-long quest to learn at the feet of masters from nearly every tradition and walk of life, this book offers a simple yet powerful model, the “Good Life Buckets ” —spend 30 days filling your buckets and reclaiming your life. Each day will bring a new, practical yet powerful idea, along with a specific exploration designed to rekindle deep, loving, and compassionate relationships; cultivate vitality, radiance, and graceful ease; and leave you feeling lit up by the way you contribute to the world, like you’re doing the work you were put on the planet to do. How to Live a Good Life is not just a book to be read; it’s a path to possibility, to be walked, then lived.

Book Description
What makes a nation great? Is it simply economic prosperity and military strength -- or something more? What is it that we as a nation require to make that last-mile journey to what all the plans, investments and projects are meant to lead up to? It is only a matter of time before India is termed economically developed. But a nation has to learn to survive in tough times too. And for that what is most important is national character, born out of the value systems that exist in our families, what schools teach students, and the culture of the nation. In Pathways to Greatness, A.P.J. Abdul Kalam shifts focus from the economic development of India by 2020 to the development of our strengths, offering key lessons that will help India withstand the forces of change. He identifies what makes a nation great and also compares the standards of living of other nations with India's. He draws on his travels and his interactions with people. He evolves unique oaths for citizens from all walks of life to ensure that a better life becomes possible for everyone. In the book he completed just a few months before he passed away in 2015, one of India's best-known icons writes how our nation can become a leader on the pathways to greatness.

This encouragement enlightens and motivates the reader to shine forth the Greatness that God has put in his or her life. Larry Ragland writes a compelling memoir about his life, threading a message throughout the book about how God led him successfully through childhood rejection, legal indictments, church location struggles, health issues, and even marriage problems just exactly as God triumphantly led the Bible characters of old miraculously through their wilderness of tragedies, pain, sorrows, challenges, and intrigue to bring out the greatness in them, so He did in Larry's life, and so He wants to do in you, the reader too! Larry Ragland has over 30 years of experience in local church ministry. Alongside his wife Sandy and their two daughters, he founded Solid Rock in Birmingham, Alabama. Together they have pastored the same church for 30 years. He has preached the Gospel in several states and many countries. Larry is reaching the world through his books, online videos, podcasts, and digital courses. In 1996 he founded Ambassadors Bible College, which has equipped and credentialed church planters, pastors, and missionaries around the world. Larry is also the Founder and Director of Ambassadors Network (a network of local churches, pastors, missionaries, and leaders). His passion is to lead leaders and equip this generation to be a voice of influence on our culture and world.
