He was granted land at Biddeford, Maine on 2 April 1720 " ... and in August 1721 he joined the church at Wells and here his two sons were baptized in 1722 and 1724. He had already died in 1723, the victim of an Indian raid."--Page 2. After Williams death, his wife Eliza appears to have been remarried to John Webber in 1726. Descendants and relatives lived in Maine, New Hampshire, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, New York, Virginia, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Illinois, Idaho, Minnesota, Kentucky, Kansas, Iowa and elsewhere.
