Go from aww to awful! with I Don't Really Love You, a darkly humorous collection of adorable pet photography and soul-crushing one-liners, based on the popular Instagram @365DaysofDread. Drawing on the black humor of author Alex Beyer, I Don't Really Love You takes readers on a journey from delightful to depressing (and back again!). Dead pan captions, from "Birthdays don't matter" to "Inadequacy haunts me endlessly," peek out from behind the forms of calm cats and happy-go-lucky puppies, creating an unexpected contrast and offbeat appeal. Pet lovers and humor lovers will be captivated in equal measure, with more than 75 full-color photographs of cats and dogs in a range of breeds, alongside an off-beat, subversive voice. With the perfect attitude for our rapidly changing world, this quirky book will make readers laugh out loud (after sending them crawling under the covers to contemplate their existence).

Book Description
Inspirational Wisdom for Every Day in a Classic Daybook—"An excellent gift . . . A fine inspirational" (Midwest Book Review) During the last years of his life, Leo Tolstoy kept one book invariably on his desk, read and reread it to his family, and recommended it to all his friends: a compendium of wise thoughts gathered over the course of a decade from his wide‑ranging readings in philosophy and religion, and from his own spiritual meditations. Thoughtful Wisdom for Every Day comprises Tolstoy’s own most essential ideas about spirituality and what it is to live a good life. Designed to be a cycle of daily readings, this book offers thoughts and aphorisms for every day, following a succession of themes repeated each month—such as God, the soul, desire, faith, our passions, humility, inequality, evil, truth, happiness, and the blessings of love. Comforting, challenging, and inspiring, this is a spiritual treasure trove and a book of great warmth.

Book Description
This Devotional - Warm Regards, is full of Elvie Guthrie-Lewis' life stories. As her friends, we recognize ourselves in some of her writing; and in what she writes, we are further blessed by the words she has chosen to tell our stories. Our stories: our successes, and even some of our sorrows, are being used to glorify our Lord and Savior. What a blessing. What a joy. What an honor. Each meditative story concludes with Words of Love. As you read, you can imagine what Jesus is trying to say to each of us, what He is trying to teach us in His loving, contemplative way. There is no judgment, just stories to which we can each relate; stories that will warm our hearts; stories that will nurture us, and encourage us, as we grow in our faith. Elvie Guthrie-Lewis was born to Maurice and Ernestine Guthrie, on the beautiful Island of Jamaica, in the West Indies. She is the last of four children. At an early age, Elvie dreamed of becoming a teacher and a writer. She was an avid reader as a child, and even had her bungalow designed for writing, like some writers she had read about. She achieved her first goal to become a teacher, when she graduated from Shortwood Teachers' College in 1970. Elvie taught at the high school level for eight and a half years and spent two and a half years with the Jamaican Movement for the Advancement of Literacy (JAMAL) as a teacher trainer. Elvie immigrated to the United States in 1982 to advance her studies, and earned BS Degrees in Nutrition and Dietetics, and Institution Management. She went on to earn a MS Degree in Education; all from Alcorn State University. Elvie is a Registered Dietitian, a Certified Public Manager, an Alumni of the South Central Public Health Leadership Institute (Tulane University), and the Rotary Leadership Academy. She is married to Felton Lewis of New Orleans, and they live in Mississippi.
