The estimates detail the annual appropriations to be approved by the Legislative Assembly through an appropriation act as well as those statutory appropriations that are not voted on. Part A covers operating expenditure in four categories, including those related to the direct delivery of government programs & services, capital grants, infrastructure, and amortization. Part B covers capital investment and provides the authority for the annual purchase or acquisition of tangible capital assets which meet established guidelines for amortization.
