When I came into contact with Laura, she brought two books to be translated: I had to choose between yours and another novel. I just read the first pages to decide, I was so excited that I could not wait to start work. I think it took me less than five minutes to tell her my choice! I loved your novel! The more I kept on reading the more I got completely involved in it. The novel, through its irony and its grotesque, can pass important messages, without ever becoming banal, indeed! I must say that I had a lot of fun translating Yo Yo Denti di Lupo. It was a truly pleasure rather than a work. I had the good fortune to spend a year living in the States.
