Fumigants are a type of pesticide with unique physical and chemical characteristics. Fumigants are gases, or turn into gases, after application. Fumigants may be odorless and usually cannot be seen. This category does not include structural pest control required to be licensed under Chapter 14 (commencing with Section 8500) of Division 3 of the Business and Professions Code. This study manual covers important aspects of pesticides used for non-soil fumigations. However, the study manual is not a substitute for reading and understanding the label of the specific fumigant product you will be using. Thoroughly read the label prior to purchase and application. Each chapter ends with review questions. After reading each chapter, test your understanding of the information presented in the chapter by answering the review questions. When I lost my job in 2007 God gave me a vision to write this book. It was not until September 2009 that I sat down and started writing an invitation to all who search for the truth about faith, which I call Invitation from the Author. I do not pretend nor claim to know all about the Bible, but I share my experience with the true God and how He transforms me from the inside out. When God took away my job, He had in mind a much better and more fulfilling opportunity for me. The opportunity was to be able to give back to my parents, to become their full-time caregiver. Being separated from God is not where you want to be. I know...I have been there so many times. I love where I am right now. I stay close to Him, and He is with me everywhere I go, to help me resist temptation. To those who are still looking for a job, I pray that you will seek God and trust that He will continue to protect you and provide for your needs. My journey with the Lord has been awesome because I wear the outfit that matters most...the outfit of salvation. When God closes one door (as He did by moving me from my old job to one of caring for my parents) He opens a bigger door! He is in control.
