He married Elizabeth Walter (1834-1913) 2 January 1862 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. They had seven children. Valentine died in 1890. Ancestors, descendants and relatives lived mainly in Connecticut and Pennsylvania. Includes Bennett, Reiter, Walter and related families.
