At its close four large wreaths were placed upon the pedestal of the statue by the President of the United States, by a representative of the National Society of the Daughters of the American Revolution, by a representa tive of the National Society of the Sons of the American Revolution, and by a representative of the Grand Lodge F. A. A. M., District of Columbia. Rev. William T. Russell pronounced the benediction and the program of speaking was ended.
