The Soldier's Blue Book is an inspectable item and will be carried at all times. This pamphlet applies to all active Army, United States Army Reserve, and the Army National Guard enlisted IET conducted at service schools, Army Training Centers, and other training activities under the control of Headquarters Training and Doctrine Command (TRADOC).Note that this printed and bound handbook is a very compact 4.5" x 6". This small size is designed to be carried with you at all times. Many Soldiers purchase 2 copies of this book, because being without it at BCT or OSUT is a punishable offense.
